Jens spent his youth in a small town called Buggenhout, Belgium.

 

As a child with an active imagination, he was soon introduced to the world of theatre and music.

During his teenage years, his interest in the technical side of theatre began to dominate.

 

He graduated as a sound engineer in 2004, coming top of the class.

What followed was a series of concerts and tours working with a variety of Belgian companies and artists.

 

Since 2010, Jens has been touring all over the world with Eastman, the company of choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, for which he created sound designs and was employed as sound No. 1

​

In December 2013, Jens made London his new home.

​

Since then, he has worked on an increasing number of musicals as a sound No.1.
